Terms of Use — Emergency Kit

Draft for review. Last updated: 2026-11-07.

  1. Service. Emergency Kit helps you plan and track a household emergency kit, shows hazard information and forwards official alerts. Provided by Braulio Blanco, Luxembourg, contact [email protected].
  2. Not an official service. The app is independent and not endorsed by any government. Recommendations summarise public official sources, linked in the app. Sources change; always check the official source and follow instructions from the authorities.
  3. No guarantee of alerts. Alerts depend on third-party feeds, the internet and push services and may be late, incomplete or not delivered. Do not rely on the app as your only warning. Keep official alert systems (e.g. LU-Alert, cell broadcast) switched on. In an emergency call 112.
  4. Not medical advice. Medicine tracking is a reminder tool only. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about medicines, doses and iodine tablets.
  5. Your account. Keep your login safe. You are responsible for the data you enter about other people and must have their agreement. You may delete your account at any time.
  6. Shared houses. Members of a shared house can view and change its data. The house owner can remove members.
  7. Acceptable use. No unlawful use, no attempts to access other households' data, no reverse engineering of the service beyond what the law allows.
  8. Liability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss caused by reliance on the app, missing or late alerts, or incorrect source data. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including under consumer law.
  9. Changes and termination. We may change or stop the service with notice in the app.
  10. Law. Luxembourg law; consumers keep the protection of the law of their country.
  11. Open data credits. Weather warnings © MeteoAlarm (EUMETNET), CC BY 4.0-equivalent terms; map data © Natural Earth (public domain); hazard and kit information from the national authorities listed in the app.
